Opus Non–Executive Chairman – Tim Trotter
As part of our development, we have recognised the importance of strong corporate governance to ensure that we remain committed to our core values and our philosophy of being open and honest, while acting with integrity at all times.
A key element in this governance strategy was the appointment of a Non-Executive Chairman, not from the restructuring arena but someone with experience of building businesses in a manner culturally aligned with our values. We are delighted with the appointment of Tim Trotter who fulfils that role for us, attending our monthly Board Meetings and assisting us in all areas of development and strategy.
Tim is a successful entrepreneur with over thirty years’ experience in business, marketing and financial services. He has a wide variety of international interests, which include both public and private companies. He is currently Chairman of Glenfern, The SR Group, Alantra, bfinance, FCBI and a Senior Adviser to Baird Capital Partners Europe. He is also a co-founder of Citywire.
Alpha FMC, PEI Media, Luther Pendragon, Bluefin and Marks Sattin have been other successful business interests. Prior to this, Tim was founder, Chairman and Chief Executive of Ludgate Group, the international public and investor relations consultancy. He established operations in London, Brussels, Frankfurt, Hong Kong and New York and developed a joint venture in India. He was also responsible for the successful introduction of two leading venture capitalists to the business – Cinven and Baird. Tim later initiated and implemented the sale of Ludgate to Interpublic.
